Buckle up your hiking shoes, fill your backpack and go hiking! The best way to discover nature and the mountains in summer is on foot. Countless well signposted paths and routes lead you to rustic alpine pastures, cozy huts, breathtaking peaks and other enchanting destinations. Do you prefer other leisure activities? Comfortable bike tours with the e-bike to Lienz or the mountain bike Stoneman, freeride descent on the Kronplatz or just chilling in the natural swimming pond and much more offers our beautiful valley.

Winter

Time out in the cold white months

On a winter holiday à la carte, you can choose from the nearby ski locations. The Kronplatz, South Tyrol's ski mountain number 1, delights with its ultra-modern lifts and 119 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes. The cuddly little ski-center Rienz appeals to Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) and Lindsey Vonn (USA) for training away from the papparazzi. The Nordic Arena: start and finish of the Dobbiaco-Cortina cross-country skiing, which has become part of the Visma Ski Classic since 2018. For the more immobile winter lovers, easy ski shoe hikes or simply breath into the cold air while walking.
